I have lots of hobbies/interests. My wife would say too many. Recently I've gotten back into golf after a long layoff due to fatherhood. I also enjoy buying an selling pool tables, in my "spare time". I love to watch live sports. Specifically, football, baseball, basketball and golf. I also enjoy hunting and fishing, but I haven't found as much time for this, as of late.
My true passion, however, is for my job. I love design work. I'm amazed everyday at the power of CAD, and how much there is to learn. It is a privilege to be challenged everyday.
I have an Associates Degree in Mechanical Design from Southwest Tech in Fennimore, WI. I spent a year working on automated machine design for Rayovac batteries in Fennimore before my wife and I decided to move to Duluth, Minnesota. I then went to work for Kestrel Aircraft as a Mechanical Systems Designer. Kestrel was a start up company designing a new six passenger turbo prop using Catia V5. I'm currently working for a prototype/concept shop in Duluth. We are Product Development Machine and we use SolidWorks here for a broad range of different projects.
