I have worked on several projects for Motiva Enterprises and CF Industries through CDI Corp. My focus has mostly been toward requisitioning static equipment, specialty items, and piping. I have a good bit of experience with hot tap calculations on piping and API 650 tanks. I have a lot of experience checking piping isometrics and pipe fabrication spool sheets. I have reviewed and approved design calculations and fabrication drawings for heat exchangers. Most recently I have reviewed the details for new, high pressure, ammonia converters and the accompanying heat exchangers.

I would like to be in a pressure equipment integrity role (PEI Engineer). My current experience level is the main obstacle to that goal, as is the amount of hands-on, field experience that I have. I believe the best route to my goal position would be to get hired as a maintenance or reliability engineer for a few years.
