      3D CAD, Mechanical Design Engineer , Stevenage £25K - £35K - Communications Industry - required by leading Stevenage based client to work as part of a close knit team designing products from Concept to Production. Carrying out 3D and 2D mechanical design, the role will also involve client and supplier liaison and ensuring projects run to timing plans. You must have minimum 3 years experience in 3D CAD (preferably Solid Edge) and FEA experience, a HNC/Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering and a high level of experience in the Pressing Industry and/or Press Tools. Experience in the design of Sheet metal, Casting and Plastics would be advantageous.The role of the Mechanical Design Engineer will be:3D and 2D designing, FEA simulation and producing detailed reports, Sourcing Prototype samples, Design of Test Jig to aid production, Research & Development and Project Management, Cost of Manufacture.       This is Omkar V More from pune, India. I have completed my Diploma in Tool and Die from NTTF. I have a two years of work experience in Design and development field and Presently working with TATA Autucomp system LTD, India.

      I can efficiently work in Pro-e, UG, CATIA and Auto cad. And have complete PLM Administration training from SIEMENS. I'm able to design 3D as well 2D designs in presstools, moulds, jigs and fixtures and also forging components and dies.
