      If you were eagerly waiting for the latest version of the popular designer suite, then this is to inform you that you can finally upgrade! If you were using a virtual machine to run the software so far, then getting the native MacOS version will speed things up significantly.

      If you are using an older version and you are unaware of any serious reasons to upgrade, be informed that the 2019 version comes with a new "DWG Comparison" feature which is absolutely awesome for engineers who work in the construction industry and want to easily spot differences between the various revisions.

      So this is the first version to run on Mac natively?

      I wonder if Solidworks will ever release a version. People are constantly asking me, "You're a design-type, how come you don't have a Mac?!"

      I think I'm too snobbish to move over, but it'd be nice to have the option.
