I could really use some help:

I'm looking for more SOLIDWORKS users who can benefit from automatic SOLIDWORKS simulations. For that reason, we created this CORTIME Ambassador Program. Simply by joining the program to create a profile and share the word about parametric optimization with your SW network, you get a chance to earn a $100 Amazon gift card each time a referral makes a purchase.

So, if you like what we do, feel free to help out by telling your friends and we will reward you.

Could you explain a little more about what your program does? Do we send you our models for simulation testing?

      Nice to meet you, John.

CORTIME is a design exploration software that can help you in a number of ways:

      • It will automate your testing, optimization and concept exploration by using parametric optimization technology to drive the design from your simulation data. This saves you manual modelling time.
      • Using sensitivity analysis (based on your simulation data carefully sampled using a Design of Experiments approach) you can preemptively gain knowledge about the degree of which your variables affect your design objectives. This will help simplify your model and focus on the variables that matter.
      • Lastly, a newly added robust design analysis will quantify the uncertainty for all of your designs based on six sigma rules. This means you can use the uncertainty quantification as a parameter in your design selection, making it more likely to catch faulty designs before QA.
Just to give you an introduction to what we can do, this is our latest design exploration demo of a Multi-Study optimization using Flow and Static simulation:

I don't know if you use Flow simulation, but to our knowledge, this has never been possible in SolidWorks before (automatically optimizing a design based on multiple simulation studies where one of them is Flow.)

If I understand you correctly, you are asking how CORTIME practically could be of service to you. There are two ways, depending on your needs:
      • We offer CORTIME as a software, which you start using yourself in your design and simulation process. This of course comes with free assistance in terms of email and phone support. We would like to think that our pricing is reasonable and you can even try it out for free, if you want to. We also offer additional personal training, if it is desired.
      • You can also get CORTIME as a consultancy service, where we receive designs from you (with simulation study/studies) and your design objectives. We deliver a final design with documentation of how we achieved the result. The beauty of this is that you still reap the benefits of CORTIME's automation - when CORTIME is working, you don't pay. Plus you still get insight about your design which would be impossible to obtain manually, e.g. robust design analysis.
Before I overwhelm you with more information (ship might have sailed on that one), feel free to write me back in here or on my email [email protected].

      Al the best,

      Nicole

      Hi Nicole,

I've only used the Simulation tools occasionally - I'm just interested in how this could potentially be useful to my clients in the future.
So, by 'parametric optimization technology' do you mean that your software will automatically adjust some variables in the model (part thickness etc?) and then test each variation to give a a range of different results?

Is your software a third-party add-in for Solidworks?

That is correct - we are a third-party add-in for SolidWorks and your definition of parametric optimization technology is also how CORTIME operates. If you have ever used the Design Study in SolidWorks it is in the same ballpark. However, CORTIME's algorithms are more advanced plus the sensitivity analysis and robust design gives you the full package of design exploration tools.

Thank you for having us in mind for your clients - Feel free to send them our way :) Let me know if you have any other questions.

Which type models need to be send for stimulation testing for Solidworks?

      Hi ramesh
We use data on the CAD model, i.e. we use simulation data to test a given CAD model.
You can also explore your design in these simulation studies:
      • Geometrical
      • Static
      • flow
      • Thermal
      • Frequency
      • buckling
      • Motion Analysis
      • Non-linear Static
      • Linear Dynamic
