Apparently there's also an "ebike" powered by a fuel cell... but it looks more like a motorbike in the pictures!

You guys are a lot into bikes I guess. I live in EU so for me I am more into cycles. The cycling culture is so built into people around me, its pretty cool. How is it in the UK? Do people use cycles a lot?

It's okay, but it's nowhere near as good as Europe.

I cycled the entire length of the UK when I was younger (it's quite a famous route in the UK) and I really enjoyed it.

However, I talk to a lot of people who say that in the UK it is really dangerous to ride on the main roads. I personally think it's pretty safe, but I live in Asia where it's not that safe, so it's all relative to your point of view.

In the UK we have some cycle paths (nothing like the Netherlands though) but usually they're not that well maintained, or they're just painted on the road rather than separated from cars.

Well Netherlands is another world, in Poland however, I guess its like UK. They have very simple footpath half divided into walkway and the other half for bi-cycles. Its very convenient though to cycle in Poland. Also sometimes its right by the side of the road in Germany, and also not very wide. I would be terrified cycling there so close to other cyclists and just by the road. Therefore, I prefer the polish style, large footpath divided into two.
