I have an immediate need for a Composite Engineer with a manufacturing focus to lead a variety of aerospace research projects. This position requires a self-motivated individual with a hands-on approach. This is a contract to direct position for a major DOD contractor in Virginia. Responsibilities Leads the design & development efforts for prototype composite programs Develops manufacturing processes Coordinates programs through manufacturing launch Prepares and provides data for bid and proposal efforts Qualifications Preferred Education / Experience for Composites Engineer: Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical, Aerospace or Material Science Engineering; 3+ years of experience with research and development composites programs, or; A combination of education and experience equivalent to above Preferred Knowledge / Ability: Knowledge of current composite materials and processing Knowledge of manufacturing equipment Proficient with CAD software; NX preferred Able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense secret security clearance Able to work in an individual and team environment Able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense secret security clearance Please contact Mike Manchester at 904-427-5490 or [email protected], we are interviewing now.
