Absolutely possible. I've had plenty of sheet metal parts made in stainless steel and they've been de-burred by the manufacturer to a satisfactory level.
Thanks for your quick reply! Actually I forgot to mention a few more details. We are not planning a hard tooling for this part. And because it's 3mm, we used laser cutting for that slot. I don't think we would be able to use NCT for the stainless steel deburring. Is there any cost efficient way to do this deburr?
How complex is the part geometry and what are your volumes like? Simply deburring by hand could be an option. Has a manufacturer offered an opinion?
A competent laser operator ought to be able to set the machine to cut clean enough to not require deburring.
we use to make deburr the sheet metal parts for steel by grinding and process called SHALQAMA by Arabic language. machine like vibrators to clean edges. i think also stainless steel need to be grind its edge.
is it made by metal stamping? and any surface finish? you can make deburring by fine blanking, or tumbling, to remove the burrs.
