VH1 is always playing on the background. I'm not a fan of any exact band or style. Thats why shuffle of misc music is ok for work.

 

I wish I could. Most of the time I am supervised and it would seem unprofessional.

As of what kind of music, any from classic to hip-hop as long as it doesn't drive me nuts. Then I change the station

 

I'm not sure if anyone has said this already but personally I have learned the benefit of music before I start my work day. It helps wake me up as well as gets me pumped. I'm not sure what others listen to but my hype song is Flexecution by Logic.

 

I love listening to mellow songs while doing my design work. My mind is at ease whenever I hear these kinds of songs. It also helps my design thinking process in sketching new mechanical constructions. You should try it out!
