I am bewildered to watch people jump up and down to create renewables because of climate change when at the same time oil reserves are running out too. Search for renewables goal: arrest climate change, maintain standard of living. Run out of oil: arrest climate change, world crashes back to a preindustrial standard of living. Not the same at all, I see no irony.
There is no irony for me either. - Renewable sources are to get rid of burning exhausts. - The reserve of not renewable sources is not the intertwined subject and it is not a new thing. They will be depleted one day. And new sites for mining are being searched.
