If you want to use energy data to help reduce usage or convince other employees to adopt energy-saving behaviors, there's this energy monitoring system. There are lots available online so you could compare which one suits you.

It is not rocket science just simple math that people refuse to acknowledge even if you stapled the numbers to their face, In Australia, energy is very expensive, among the dearest in the world and the cost is actually higher the more you use, or commercial clients, even at the lower being financially raped costs of domestic, it is cheaper to run welders and any high kw usage items on diesel generators, by a factor of 3 times cheaper at an industrial level ten times cheaper. stand alone is now the way to go, large systems are now available off grid, not grid feed. my own home in winter costs 90 a quarter for fuel, in summer about half that, which is less than the fee cost of being connected with zero usage. the kw price for power is massive for welders and high energy use, but does not increase with a generator.

We ended up hiring Ecova for their energy management solutions. They'll also be helping us figure out in which departments and how we can minimize our energy consumption.
