System Engineer Location Landskrona, Suède Job description Faiveley Transport Nordic AB in Landskrona designs, produces and markets tread brakes and slack adjusters. We also offer service, maintenance and modernisation/redesign of complete brake systems, couplers, door systems, air conditioning systems and electronics systems for a wide spectrum of locomotives and train, metro & tram cars within Nordic countries. Currently we have 150 employees and a turnover of approximately 310 MSEK. In this role you will work with complete systems, in most cases produced either locally or by a sister company, e.g. brake, door, AGTU, HVAC systems or various electronic systems. You participate in the sales phase, in the quotation stage and of course later in the order stage. The deliverables can be newly produced products but more commonly being service, maintenance or modernisation of existing systems. You will work internally with sales, engineering and project people and independently with external customers. The role will require some travelling within the Nordic countries and to group sites internationally. Profile description You will need a master’s degree in engineering, probably with some years of experience within a relevant field, and a deep interest and capability in the electronics, electro-mechanics or mechanics disciplines, both at component as well as system level. You have a great passion for engineering and enjoy working individually as much as meeting customers. You feel comfortable in a dynamic environment where cooperation, engagement and ability of prioritization are key success factors. A practical approach combined with high personal drive, plus adequate knowledge of the English language, are important ingredients to reach success in this role. A background from the railway industry is of course regarded as a merit.
