I would prefer Autodesk Inventor which could support to calculate many mechanical parts such as gear, spring...

Most important; what systems are in use at your customers and other collaborators you need moving your project forward? The most common would be SW but a few of us dislike it as we don't align with their work thinking. And, it is NOT a surface modeller. Do you need advanced surfacing or shaping, I'd go for high range softwares like NX. Do you design and manufacture plastics and moulds, there are few like VisiCAD by Hexagon.

Go for Autodesk Software this would help in easy and simple Cad conversions.

I've not been on much at all except to convert some models before a change over.

I suggest you have a look at OnSahpe: https://www.onshape.com
It's a great cloud based 3D parametric modeler (professional CAD system) and its free!

I've been experimenting with Onshape a little bit since late last year, I'm really impressed. I like how you can create several parts from the same sketch, so the original design intent & relationship between part dimensions is easier to follow than in Solidworks. Document version control & collaboration are handled very well. I'm not surprised the original Solidworks team are behind it.

The only criticisms I have of it at the moment are its lack of sheet metal tools, but according to their forum, that is being worked on.

Now I switch from Inventor to SW. Both are nice:)
