I need to create a huge bulk of invoices. I can get the data in CSV or EXCEL format. Does anyone knows a tool that can generate invoices from that
Freshbooks can import clients (with contact info) and expenses (such as bills, etc.) but I'm pretty sure that they can't import a list of time sheets. I don't use anything else, so I can't speak to Zoho, or give suggestions on what you should try, but you can scratch Freshbooks off your list for this. For what it's worth though, I love using Freshbooks for managing my timesheets and billing for consulting. They may not be able to import data, but they are great for everything else.
I don't know the kind of data you have. However, if you have the data in Excel, one can mail merge the same by building an invoice format. What a mailmerge does is to read the data from the specified fields and one can either print it to a printer or can send it by mail, where the emails of the persons, would form one of the field data. You can use Open office to do this.
Hi Daniel, I'm Reshma and I work at Zoho. If you have a CSV file with the data to be imported, you can easily get that into Zoho Invoice. You'll even find a sample file available which will show how the data needs to be arranged to make the import process smooth. Once all your data has been imported, Zoho Invoice will create invoices automatically with the data available.
