      I currently teach engineering drawings at a major US University we currently use Technical Graphics by Meyers it is a great book. But if you are more interested in the rules and standards, I suggest you just purchase a copy of the standards your company follows if you understand the basics. Such as orthogonal views, projections, line styles, and basic dimension. This may be way more helpful.
