I am new to these forums.

I belong to a motorcycle manufacturing and assembling company. We develop parts locally with our Vendors. One of the parts is known as "Handle Crown" which needs to be made by the process of Gravity Die Casting and the material is Aluminium. The problem is that there are very few vendors here that have expertise in this area. Majority belong to HPDC. My Question is that if its possible that Gravity die casting can be performed on the same setup in which HPDC is performed as claimed by the Vendor. If so, then how is that possible? and what amendments do they have to make in the process? Any opinions will be highly appreciated.
