I know that on helical gear tooth it is the component force Wa that tends to seperate gears axially. I wonder if this force can make axial load and momentum or torque on the shaft ?
I'm not quite sure what you are asking, but in the past, the axial reaction measurement has been used for determining output torque on various gear drives with helical gears. Conversely, careful control of the axial positioning can be used to make small adjustments to timing between the gears.
