you need check your caliber to know your limit for both thickness and diameter
braking torque can be calculated from 2 different way either from the driver side by assuming braking force from driver or torque on tires
good luck and remember that you need to finish your system design before moving to components

Do you want to calculate rotor weight for its heating capacity?

We need to select a rotor. We just have the wheel size as 12 inch. What is the best method for designing a rotor which gives me its diameter and weight

first of all u need to calculate stresses act on it which will be torque and pressure then you have to see your caliper to define your constraints ( diameter and thickness limits)
and the methods for calculation torque will be as I mentioned in my first post you have 2 ways and you can choose what you prefer according to your givens
please go ahead and post your trials so as to we can help you more
if you have misunderstanding in some terms discuss it here

torque on front=3289.406 lb-inch and torque on back wheel=599.53156 lb-inch So now what should I do about the constraints calculation
