Junior Design Engineer Newark, Nottinghamshire £18,000 - £22,000, Full Time, Permanent Role An exciting opportunity has become available for a forward thinking Junior Mechanical Design Engineer. Our Client is an industry leader in their field and trades Intentionally with distributors all over the world. This role comes with huge opportunities to work alongside a group of highly experienced engineers and your main responsibilities will be: - Product Development Design and develop the products defined in the Company Development Plan and Marketing Briefs Produce detailed drawings to BS 8888 and manage drawing changes Produce 3D designs using Solidworks Design custom orders and manage communications with customers Identify and deliver on opportunities to improve quality through redesign Skills & Experience Experience working with Solidworks / AutoCAD To be conversant with the Microsoft suite of Office programmes (Excel, Word and Outlook) Reading and accurately interpreting drawings Good time management skills Proven ability to deliver to design dead lines Candidate The ideal candidate for this role will hold a Degree, HND or HNC in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
