I'm looking for a mechanical engineer who is into backpacking/outdoor gear; I'm strictly looking for a partner. If you've got experience working with aluminum tubing that would be even better. I've identified the initial target markets and the size, but the opportunity isn't clear until the product specs are in; however, it shouldn't take too long to get to that point.

I've got a basic miniature prototype to work off of; I'd like to work out the details and get some drawings for a provisional patent. after that I'd like to get a full-sized working prototype built at a 50/50 cost between partners - it won't cost that much. I'll get the financing for the next stage.

I have an accounting/finance degree as well as an IT/technical support background. I'm currently working on an MBA, part-time, and I can drop it as soon as it starts to interfere with moving this venture forward; on the same note, I'm not looking for someone who has a family to support because of the conflict in priorities. I'm also looking for an American who speaks English natively.

Finally, I'm looking for someone who can make this product as much theirs as it is mine because there's work to be done, and you have to get to a point where you care about this as much as I do.

I'd also ask that you sign an NDA until you're on board 100%.
