I have used Reell, excellent product, and great comapany to deal with. As for the moulding, best to talk with your injection molder on that as well as the hinge company if they have design criteria for boss size etc. The hinges I used were of a bolt in type because my plastics were low production cast urethanes.

As was mentioned in this thread, most laptop application are highly volume custom designs. Tooling costs usually make low volume applications unattractive, but perhaps a standard product will work for your application.
