      Hi,

I am looking for a part called a "Shoulder Rivet" and I cant find a supplier for this part (so annoying!!).

      It looks like this

And the part is quite small. The only critial dimension is the actual shoulder "E" which needs to be 1mm

The head "A" could be anywhere from 6mm diameter to 4mm ... I dont care. lol

However, for the life of me I cant find this part. Or indeed, get a suitable price.

      Can anybody advise or help?

      Kind regards,
      John Biddleston

      Hi John,
You can get this "shoulder rivet" easily in China.A little far away...
The price for reference: around 0.2-0.3CNY (MOQ 20000EA)

Just do google search. You will get many suppliers having this as standard product.

Don't ask me why but I have this really weird feeling that the original poster might have done that already.

      Dear Mr. Gareth,
I was surprise to see this as requirement. Shoulder rivet is standard product since many many years and have used it many places in past. As the person has not given details of size, quantity and location of delivery its not possible for anyone to suggest right choice of supplier. As an alternate to help him I did just one search in Google and I got many address. If John gives his requirement more precisely even I can arrange to export them from India. ZBut this would cost him more.

      Hello John,

The part you have illustrated is a cold formed part and we can manufacture it or may already have something similar.

If you can send us more details we will do our best. [email protected]

      Thanks

From my experience, I've found that it's very rare to find an off-the-shelf shoulder rivet that will fit your application. You basically have to design around what you find, which generally isn't the right way to do it. You will likely need to find a manufacturer that will make one for you. The costs to do so it not prohibitive if it's a production part, but for prototyping or low volumes you may balk at the prices.

      Hi, John,

Seems you missed some information on it, what material of part, is it from Zic?
