Salary / benefits: DOE, up to £37K + Company Bonus

Job Outline:
Owing to continued success, a world leading designer and manufacturer of precision instrumentation is now looking for a further Mechanical Design Engineer to join their design team.
Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Team Leader, you will be responsible for the mechanical design and documentation of new products, along with maintaining and carrying out design changes to existing product.
Working across all aspects of the product life cycle you will play a key part in the design and development from initial concept through to finished project.
You will also identify and propose product improvements with the aim of improving performance, reliability and cost etc.
In addition you will be familiar with preparing documentation to support product descriptions and manufacturing.

Experience:
You must have a minimum of 3 years industrial experience in a similar role designing and leading mechanical design projects.
It is essential that candidates have worked with precision mechanical designs to high tolerances in 3D.

Qualifications:

Qualifications in mechanical engineering or similar are essential.
