      Are you a Design Engineer with an excellent mechanical engineering background and experience in the product design within a manufacturing environment utilising multi-component sheet metal assemblies.

      Our Client, a market leading manufacture of bespoke systems are looking to recruit an adept Mechanical Design Engineer for their site in Kent.

      The responsibilities of the Design Engineer role are as follows:
      · Design and detailing of conceptual design through to manufacturing drawings.
      · Correct sizing / specification of individual components.
      · Compilation of Bill of Materials and specifications for purchasing and manufacturer
      · Evaluation, testing and introduction of alternative designs and components.

      To fulfil these requirements you must have the following skills / experience:
      · Degree qualified in HNC / HND / Degree level in Mechanical Engineering
      · Fully conversant in 2D & 3D mechanical design packages
      · Excellent all round mechanical engineering skills
      · Component sizing / selection / costing
      · Experience of multi-component sheet metal assemblies.
      · Knowledge of Thermaldynamics highly advantageous
