As Mechanical Designer/Technologist, you will be a member of the Research & Development design team, providing technical drafting and design support for agricultural equipment, parts and product lines. This position offers the unique opportunity to see product development from the initial concept and design stage to manufacture and final implementation.

Junior to Senior positions available.

You will:

§ Provide technical and design support using 3D modeling computer software (Solidworks) and related software programs (Word, Excel, internet)

§ Attend team meetings, research and provide information. Contribute to the design and ‘brainstorming’ sessions to offer innovative solutions, ideas and technical advice towards the development/enhancement of new or existing products.

§ Serve as a strong professional and technical representative of the company; develop productive working relationships with management, co-workers and manufacturing staff. Act as a representative of the organization when attending client meetings, field trips and tradeshows.

§ Assist in developing prototypes: coordinate design and manufacturing with the production staff in the shop.

§ Be committed to professional development/training to enhance technical, communication and design skills on an ongoing basis.

Any agriculture experience/background is a major asset.
