Motor Design Engineer - Hampshire - Implement internal and external requirements for motor designs. - Producing Motor Requirements documentation in co-operation with the (concept development) team. - Produce design descriptions, test and validation requirements documentation. - To use analytical design tools or FEA software in motor design. - To account for the impact of the control electronics on the motor performance. - To understand the imperfections in performance, losses, detent, torque ripple. - To understand and detail the mechanical forces produced by the motor and the impact of assembly tolerances in the motor design. - To understand and define the thermal performance of the motor.
