      Dear all,

I am a new user of Solidworks 2010. I am at the most beginner level. But I faces lots of troubles during practice and for the lack of resource sometimes it is hard to find the solution. So, it would be very helpful if anybody give me any kind of tips for practicing or any kind of link of practice site or video tutorials.

      Dear Shamvil,

The Tutorials are quite good and should be adequate for you to start and explore SolidWorks.

They are in the Right hand Pane, "SolidWorks Resources". In that you should click "Tutorials".

Please start with the "Getting Started" and proceed to go through each Tutorial. Please do not just read, create the documents as advised.

I learnt the software this way and so far, I could model anything I have needed, with very few exceptions.

Initially, I did not know what exactly I was doing, but soon got the general approach needed. Till then, I repeated the Tutorials. Afterwards, I tried making models of common engine parts, with quite good success.

      Regards
