Manpower Professional is recruiting a talented, experienced Electrical Design Engineer who will design Lighting, Fire Alarm, Electrical Power, Security, and technology systems with nominal supervision to the highest quality standards. With a team-centric culture, you will be mentored under experienced Professional Engineers with years of experience in Commercial and Institutional building design.

Responsibilities:
• Building power systems and lighting design (not component design)
• Background in Commercial Construction
• Specification writing
• BIM Experience
• Autodesk Design Suite
• Experienced in Drawing/Modelling in current REVIT software while demonstrating strong computer skills and understanding of technical data required for REVIT
• Create coordination reports and clash detection via Navisworks
• Utilize point clouds in the development of Scan to BIM
• Electrical load calculations per National Electric Code
• Ability to design to meet or exceed codes
• Maintain a thorough understanding of applicable building codes, standards and procedures
• Contribute to team efforts, continuous professional skill development to build upon our innovative energy efficient design for buildings.

Qualifications:
• PE Preferred
• 5-7 years of experience as an electrical designer conducting the duties listed above (in lieu of PE)
• Thorough understanding of power, lighting, fire alarm, security, and technology design for commercial buildings.
• Ability to design, draft and observe construction for all aspects of electrical systems.
• Ability to work productively in a collaborative work environment.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
