I am in the process of developing a pneumatic frl type machine lubricator that makes it possible to detect, monitor and control each and every drop of oil dispensed into the airstream of a machine using compressed air. It is in the prototype stage and has been demonstrated to work as described. You can understand that it has the potential to impact all of industry since it is difficult to manufacture any product in quantity without using various machines that use compressed air. It should reduce downtime and increase thruput due to extended life of all pneumatic machine components including air solenoids, cylinders and air motors. There should be a residual savings of energy as well due to less air loss from reduction of seal wear and constant lubrication. Is this something that you would have applications for or do you know someone who has applications for it?

The world is full of FRL's it sounds like you have designed a better one. I don't see why your product would have any new or different applications than all of the other FRL's on the market. If you can back up your claims with data and the cost of your device is reasonable, I might use it in place of other FRL's

Are you going to manufacture and sell your new product?

      Are you looking for investors?

Are you looking to sell your design to another FRL manufacturer?

I am thinking about licensing for 1 year of exclusive rights in return for funding which would require investment. If a machine stops due to a stuck air cylinder etc on an automated line it can cost a few hundred thousand dollars an hour due to downtime alone. Since a typical lubricator may cost 50 dollars my unit will probably be about $500 each plus cost of integrating it into the existing machine ladder logic which could be done by the end user. Lubrication with intelligence will be far superior to present operation with the units either empty or full and turned off/misadjusted. After 1 year of exclusive rights I plan to license it for 3 years to other manufacturers. Do you have any other questions Erich?
