If you’re looking for a powerful multiphysics FEA simulation tool, this is to let you know that a new release of IronCAD and its MPIC module has been rolled out. It’s got stress, electrostatic, and thermal analysis, frequency domain determination, dynamic/transient response, and even fluid flow mechanics analysis. In this new version, there’s a new rigid body kinematic tool (see image below), an enriched materials database which now entails over 5 hundred types, and quicker analysis work by setting some parts as “non-crucial” so they are treated as rigid bodies and are left out of the analysis. There’s also a free trial which I am testing out currently, and I am impressed so I am sharing this with you.
