Does anyone know of a good pdf to dwg converter? I know a site which provide convert the pdf to dwg services. but i want free converter. please help...
One rather good way of doing this is to use Adobe Illustrator. If the PDF was originally created from a drawing file then Illustrator can open the PDF and convert back to DWG format. You can download a 30 day evaluation of Illustrator.
Look at PDF2CAD software. It has been reliable and most reasonable for the 2 years I have used it. Converts PDF converted originally from a vector CAD format back into DXF. They have a trial period offered also.
Hi, Try PDF995. Part of its application is free. You'll get a bunch of annoying advertisements, but it does the job to create CAD files or in my case, NX files to PDFs. I hope that helps
It's worth noting that this will only work if the PDF has been created directly from a CAD program as a vector image. If you zoom into the document and the lines start becoming pixelated then you cannot exatract the CAD data from it as it is just a jpg within the PDF.
Hi, That's too bad. It works fine for me. It's just annoying getting all their pop-up ads as the CAD image get converted to a '.pdf''. I suggest you check you settings.
You can try this PDF to DWG Converter which converts may drawing perfectly, almost retain all entities as original AutoCAD drawing, be easy to use and yes it is also totally editable. And it has a free trial version.
I messed up - 1 . then PDF to CAD / dwg, dxf / or 2. CAD to PDF. the first - easiest if a small drawing - Insert it into Autokad and redraw / Autokad version after 2009 or 2010 /. in PDF created from CAD Autokad recognize your "sticking points" - start-end, middle, center, and other if you're a large and complex drawings - Program. but I think you should still check it at the end. the second - each program has a "Print to PDF"
