Plastic Injection molding and aluminum die casting are similar in a lot of ways:

• Both require a mold or tool to produce parts.
• The tooling cost is very similar in both industries.
• Both processes inject material into a mold to make parts.
• Both processes can make hundreds or thousands of parts every day.

Hi all,
Nice discussion is going on.But how much I know Aluminium moulding is better than Plastic moulding. One of the cable supplies suggested me to take aluminium moulded cable wire with plastic coat manufactured from Peter's Technology. They said that both are nearly about same price but aluminium moulded cable is better that plastic moulded. So on my view Aluminium is better than Plastic.

Aluminum is not "better" than plastic. Nor is it worse. Depending on the requirements of the application, one or the other may be more appropriate.
