Does anyone know what the weld reference is when using proe 2001? To create a weld on a model the create definitions require a weld reference after the weld is defined. However, selecting a datum plane or a surface feature I get an error stating not all requirements are defined. Because this software is old, I can't find any tutorial or instructions on the web to help me out. Any suggestion would be helpful.

It has been a very long time since I have used Pro/E 2001. However, I do not think any of the requirements or references for welds have changed much over the years. You should be able to reference tutorials on the web about how to define the references just the locations to click will be very different. Here is one decent tutorial for Creo try to apply it and let us know what is different.
