      Hello,
A method of casting in which a mold is first formed from a three-dimensional pattern of sand and finally filled with molten metal which is allowed to solidify.
Can u tell me any types or parts of sand Casting.
I have no idea about this?

Sand casting is a casting process where the molten metal is poured into a mold made of sand. There are various types of sand castings like Green-sand molding, air set sand casting, dry sand molding and the lost form method. Sand casting is the most commonly used Casting Process because of the cost effectiveness of the process and the easy availability of raw materials.

Sand Casting is a process by which molten metal is poured in sand molds to produce parts in an economical manner.Sand casting is a type of expendable mold casting that utilizes expendable sand molds to form complex metal parts that can be made of nearly any alloy.
