      THE ROLE:


      • Design hydraulic / industrial componentsfor customer applications for effective and efficient manufacturing.
      • Develop and apply testingmethodologies to custom designed products.
      • Assess customer requirements andassess manufacturing capabilities.
      • Provide Production, Purchasing,Production Engineering and Planning with information and documentationrequired.
      • Liaise with external customers asneeded and provide high quality customer service.

      YOU AND YOUR EXPERIENCE:


      • You have aMechanical Engineering degree coupled with a professional engineeringdesignation or equivalent.
      • You have aminimum of 5 years’ experience working in manufacturing environment focused onmechanical design.
      • You haveexperience working with customer requirements and possess a strong customerservice attitude.
      • You are aclear and concise communicator who can build and sustain relationships bothinternally and externally.
      • You arehighly motivated, self-starter and have the demonstrated ability to adhere totight schedules.
      • You believestrongly in collaboration and can effectively work with stakeholders, employeesand colleagues to bring major initiatives to a successful conclusion.
      • You consideryourself a highly creative thinker; you love troubleshooting and enjoyproviding solutions to design and manufacturing challenges.
      • You possessstrong time management and organizational skills and are able to initiate,plan, execute, control and close projects effectively.
      • You arepassionate about growth, improvement and process as it relates to operationsand manufacturing and your own development.
      • Though notrequired, having experience designing hydraulic components or hydrauliccylinders is ideal.
