Hi, I'm looking to hire a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a new design team in a fast moving medium sized company that specialises in products for automated machine vision. Your modelling tool with be Inventor 2013 and you must be highly proficient in its use. You will need to be familiar with the following, appropriate to small (100mm – 2m) electro-mechanical assemblies: extrusions castings sheet metal working milling turning fixing/fastening techniques specification of finishes etc You will be highly competent in the specification of tolerances of multiple pieceparts such that assemblies go together without issue. This is a role that is very varied and pulls upon knowledge of multiple mechanical fields. You will report to the Director of Engineering. The nominal salary for the role is £40k.
