Please feel free to start a "Mechanical Desktop can be incredibly irritating at times..." thread and rant away! It might be great therapy.
This is really annoying (see image below). A new feature of SW2010, this little "helpful" box pops up whenever you're doing something to a dimension (a bit like in MS word). The only snag is that it tends to just get in the way all the time, obscuring the next feature you want to manipulate!!! It was driving me crazy. Fortunately there was a way around it: a downloadable "hack" that disables this feature. It was a bit strange being given an "unofficial" hack by the helpdesk guys, however. Apparently SW doesn't have an official way of getting rid of it.

Thanks - I'll have to have a look at that new service pack. I'm sure that will get rig of a few bugs... and maybe add one or two more
Note to all members ALL CAD SYSTEMS CAN BE IRRITATING AT TIMES! Just felt a need to point it out Cheers
Now this is annoying!!! Aaaarrrgh. This happens exactly when you really need to redo. Not as annoying as "Can't undo", though.
yes that can be pain - remember to save often, if you recall that irritating reminder box that would pop up every minute
Gareth, look under Options > Backup/Recover and uncheck the checkbox in Save notification (at the bottom of the dialog box).
I think the inconsistent undo/redo function is No1 for me. Why does SW seem to have opinions about what should and should not be undone??? Spectacularly non-existent in some areas.
