      Stanley Black & Decker is looking for experienced, enthusiastic Engineers with a background in new product development to help support our iconic DEWALT brand products. This position will be responsible to:

      • Utilize the Product Development Milestone processes to develop and deliver technical design in support of New Product Development.
      • Own technical design responsibility for assigned projects utilizing 2D and 3D design capabilities to deliver technically sound solutions.
      • Use marketing input to design creative solutions to end user requirements.
      • Assure appropriate documentation is developed and maintained.
      • Analyze data to reach sound design/business decisions in complex technical situations.
      • Perform hands-on concept development and prototyping.
      • Perform hands-on product testing and data collection.
      • Manage test programs in conjunction with product development.
      • Total project management responsibilities.
      • Understanding of the manufacturing processes - cold forming, die casting, machining, injection molding.
      • Ability to manage projects with global suppliers.
      • Employ/utilize analytical software (FEA, CFD, etc.)
      What we are looking for from you:

      • BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required
      • Self-motivated, creative, goal-oriented and good team player
      • Minimum 3 years design engineering experience, manufacturing exposure preferred
      • Excellent problem solving skills & hands on abilities.
      • Awareness of design for manufacturing, quality inspection methods.
      • Proficient in 3D design (CATIA experience preferred)
      • Working knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-ups from design perspective.
      • Good experience in using MS Office software (Excel, Word, etc.)
      • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
