      Job Description
      Main responsibilities of the Technical Manager include:

      • Design, develop and introduce to market innovative new attachments
      • Manage UK Engineering, Technical documentation & Marketing team
      • Identify and implement improvements to current models
      • Support Global Sales Team with special applications and technical advise
      • Liaise with Production teams in UK, China and Australia to ensure cost-effective, high quality production
      • Manage technical warranty and ISO9001 processes
      • Represent Auger Torque technically within Kinshofer Group


      The Successful Applicant
      This role is part of the senior management team and is critical within the organisation so will require someone with previous experience within the Construction Plant manufacture industry or similar markets, with a proven track record of managing a engineering/technical team and being heavily involved in New Product Introduction.

      The successful Technical Manager will have:

      • Experience of hydraulic equipment and gear design
      • Experienced in 3D CAD and simulation, preferably SolidWorks
      • Leading and developing teams of technical staff
      • New Production Introduction experience
      • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering (desirable)
      • Construction Equipment sector experience or similar
      • Experience in ISO9001
      • Experience in working with customers in a "hands on" fast-moving environment
      With HQ based near Cheltenham, the ideal candidate will be commutable to this location but this role will include a small amount of travel.

      What's on Offer
      £45,000 basic salary + up to £10,000 bonus based on company and individual targets, 25 days holiday + bank holidays
