Thank you mlsecco and Natacha Watson.

Only two posts, I was expecting more.
      :)

In our company we use Vero VISI. Quick and easy to get to work, but not associative. Now we will take another software. It is important to hear the views of people who have experience with the software, which will recommend the best.

Does anybody use Solidworks for Mould tool design? Is it a good tool for mold design?

I think nothing like best, depends on users. i use Unigraphics with wave i think it is good with lot of associativity. i don't use wizard. i go by traditional method. but i saw solidworls quick mold & i was not very much impressed. it's ok for simple ones not for complicated parts

Using associativity with the mold design model, NX mold design software facilitates fast and efficient design change propagation across the entire process. SOLIDWORKS and ZW3D used for mold design and support multi-product design as well.

ZW3D and SolidWorks both are used for mold design and support.

KeyCreator (formerly Cadkey) is popular for mold design because of its ability to import solid models from virtually any other CAD system and have them indistinguishable from KeyCreator created parts. This can be important for a moldmaker working with models received from customers with different CAD systems. Many parametric CAD systems can import models from other systems but then can't edit the models.

My opinion is ActCAD is the best product which is mostly used for mold tool design.
      Key Features:
      • Complete plastic part and advanced surfacing design tools
      • Geometry Import, Repair, and Healing tools
      • Draft Analysis, Undercut Analysis, and Thickness Analysis tools
      • Parting line tools
      • Parting surface tools
      • Automated “fill surface” capability for easy shutoff surface creation
      • Core and cavity splitting tools
