Along with its sister company, Indiana Plastics, Inc (www.indianaplastics.com), the company’s primary focus is to service the custom injection molding industry through the design and build of close-tolerance, high-quality prototype and production molds. In addition to building injection molds, Kruis Mold also offers blanchard and centerless grinding, design and build of production/QC gages and fixtures, lathe turning, prototype and production machining of plastics and metals, and die sharpening.

      Injection Mold Designer[/FONT]
      [FONT=arial !important]Individual will be responsible for designing both production and prototype plastic injection molds and electrodes to ensure maximum performance in a high-quality, fast-paced molding environment. Individual will also aid in the design and creation of production gauges, fixtures, and assembly equipment.[/FONT]

      [FONT=arial !important]Responsibilities
      • Mold design from concept to build completion
      • Electrode design
      • Arrange and coordinate product and mold design reviews as required
      • Conceptualize and design gauges, fixtures, and assembly equipment as required
      • Complete documentation and tracking for all assigned duties
      • Perform all other duties as assigned

      Requirements

      [FONT=arial !important]
      • Minimum 5 years experience designing production and prototype plastic injection molds and electrodes
      • Must have design experience in Solidworks or Cadkey
      • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Thorough attention to detail
      • Ability to multitask on multiple projects simultaneously
      • Must be able to excel in fast-paced environment with little supervision
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

      Preferences

      • CNC Programming experience in MasterCam a plus
      • Experience with Gantt or other timing chart systems preferred
      • Injection molding experience a plus
