Hi, it's great to have a dedicated forum. I was just going through the designs of the Liddiard Omni wheel and the mecanum wheel. While the mecanum is a manifestation of propellers on a boat, the Omni wheel looks like the thrusters on a satellite. Are there other similar mechanisms, at least for robots?

I have a question to get this forum rolling.
What would you guys think about wind energy being produced by a high speed, high traffic highway ? (The cars producing high velocity of wind that increases the amount of rotations of the turbine.)
