Helo everyone have a good day! Now I'm design a spline coupling and I conpare between 2 calculation software: KissSoft & MITcalc I found an abnormal result. This is permissible pressure value of material. I select same material, same hardness, there's a different as below. anybody can explain why permissible pressure different so much? please. and how to calculate permissible pressure from tensile strength?
